CARJACKED COUPLE GETS REVENGE
Albuquerque Police says two carjacking victims decided to take revenge on the guy that stole their car. Just one day after Juan Saavedra, 37, and Christal Holliday, 23, reported being victims of a carjacking, they managed to track down the suspect themselves and kidnapped him. After allegedly taking the teen from a 7-11 they wanted to “punish” him. The teen told police Saavedra and Holliday “first shot him in the ear at the 7-11 parking lot,” then “tied up his wrists and ankles.” He said he was “tazed about 50 times” and thrown in a dirt hole “about 5 feet deep.” And yet they were the ones arrested. Go figure. Saavedra and Holliday appeared before a judge Friday. Given the severity of the alleged crime, Judge Sharon Walton ordered they both be held on $50,000 bonds.
* Albuquerque Justice.
* In Albuquerque, you need a gun and tasers on hand, for just such an emergency. As well as a dirt hole.
* And that’s how justice worked in the pioneer days.
* Okay, they didn’t have tazors, but everything else was there.
* Shot him in the ear? Straight in? ‘Cause that’s where the brain is.
* Talk about being scared straight – this guy won’t even have an overdue library book after this.
* PHONE TOPIC: Should this couple be punished?
CLIP: Bugs Bunny should have taken that left turn at Albuquerque.
