HAND SALAD

You heard of this new thing, “hand salad”? Bon Appetit magazine tweeted out a link for a salad dish with a yogurt-lemon dressing saying, “It’s called a ‘hand salad’. You take long, firm romaine lettuce leaves, and dip them in dressing like a carrot stick, and call it a salad.

* The same way you stick a feather in your cap and call it macaroni?
* We used to call this, “Nobody did the dishes again.”
* Hand salad’s fine, but I prefer hand soup.
* If they’re trying to trick us into eating more vegetables it’s not working.
* Now if you dipped it into melted cheese, we might have something here.
* Especially once you added the bacon bits.
