A poll of 2,000 Americans from online shopping site Zulily claims that Americans are more excited about Valentine’s Day than Christmas. According to the poll, 81% get excited about February 14, while just 68% say they get excited about the holiday season.
* Maybe it’s because, on Valentine’s Day, you’re not going to have your kids wake you up at 4 a.m. to open presents.
* Also, you don’t have to put up and take down lights.
* At most, you’ve just got some candy or jewelry to take back to the store for cash.
* And if you’re single and Valentine’s Day depresses you, it’s over in 24-48 hours. Christmas takes WEEKS.
