In El Paso, Texas, a cheerleader was arrested after allegedly claiming that a burglar had stolen her Riverside High School cheerleader uniforms from her home. Police arrested Gina Nicole Torrijos, 18, on Friday on a charge of making a false police report after initially claiming that her uniforms had been stolen during a home burglary April 15. Torrijos later admitted she had lied about the burglary because she wanted to avoid turning in her cheer uniforms to the school.
* Gimme a U! Gimme a Busted!
* Cops thought her story sounded herkie.
* She claimed someone stole them as part of a pyramid scheme – a CHEERLEADER pyramid scheme.
* She’s going to need a good defense lawyer. DE-FENSE! (clap clap clap) DE-FENSE! (clap clap clap)
* Honey, you can get cheerleading uniforms at the thrift shop. Not, uh, that I would have a reason to know that.
* Have you noticed how Texas cheerleading stories are there own entity in this world?
* I mean there are at least two Texas cheerleader movies out there right now.
* And if Gina had used her uniform in a bank robbery or murder attempt we might have gotten a third.
* Wanting to keep the uniform? Understandable. Concocting a story featuring a fake burglary? Well, that’s just Texas-sized dumb.
