A man who dressed as Batman is behind bars after committing a crime spree in Orange County, California, on Monday. The suspect, believed to be in his 20s, robbed a victim of jewelry about 8:30 a.m. in Garden Grove. About 20 minutes later and two miles away in the town of Westminster, the masked man (caped crusader?) targeted a second victim at gunpoint. The victim fought him off. About two and a half hours later, with help from Orange County sheriff’s deputies in a helicopter and their canines, officers caught the man lying in the pool area of an apartment complex, alone in his underwear. Police said the suspect was trying to blend in as one of the tenants at the apartment complex.
* He told them he was Bruce Wayne from apartment 3B.
* Holy crime wave, Batman!
* Gotham City didn’t even have it this bad.
* He should have hidden by submerging in the pool and breathing through the Bat-straw.
* Batman turning to crime? This is why we have to bring in Superman to kick his ass in the upcoming movie.
* Couldn’t wait a few more days to blend in on Halloween, huh?
* Sure, he was one of the tenants at the apartment complex. He just liked going to the pool wearing only underwear.
* So other than a bunch of cops, a few police canines and a police helicopter, he hardly had anyone chasing him at all.
